The final renovation met all of the operational and technological needs of the department without sacrificing any provisions afforded by a totally new building. The site features a large freestanding storage building for large evidence and covered parking allowed by the large overhanging second floor. Planning factored in 20-years of growth, with unfinished space in the building available beyond that timeframe.
